Kerry and Wayman met through their friends, Lorraine and Brian. Lorraine and Kerry worked at the Department of Education together, and Lorraine's boyfriend, Brian always said he wanted his friend, Wayman to meet Lorraine's friend, Kerry. After at least a year of this, they finally met February 18th, 2011 at a happy hour party that Brian hosted at a Boston pub called McFaddens, which no longer exists. More specifically, they met in Lorraine's Toyota Corolla when they picked up Wayman. :) Kerry wished she had listened to Brian earlier! A few weeks later, the four of them went on a double date to trivia in Medford where Kerry and Wayman did not answer one single question right. On March 17th, 2011 they went on their first date.

Four years later, Wayman proposed to Kerry on April 3rd, 2015 on the docks of old historic Portland, Maine. The rest is history!
