We met online during the pandemic of July 2020. Our first couple of dates did not include the traditional dinner and drinks but required some friendly outdoor creativity which included things like picnicking in the park, hiking, exploring an alpaca farm, and kayaking. Despite the unexpected events going on in the world, our relationship began to flourish. We shared in each other's hobbies such as playing golf, learning pickleball and squash, cooking new recipes and traveling to new adventures. It wasn't until St. Patty's Day in 2021 when Jim asked Kerry to officially be his girlfriend.

Flash forward to October 28, 2023, Jim decided to pop the question. Some of our favorite travel memories have included being out on the water whether a sail boat ride in Annapolis or Newport or a booze cruise in Florida. He took Kerry out on a boat ride in Philadelphia along the Delaware River for her 35th birthday. The captain stopped the boat in front of the Ben Franklin Bridge where Jim got down on one knee and asked Kerry to marry him. She said yes of course and as they say, the rest is history!
