The ceremony and reception will both be at Mellwood Arts Center, in the Picasso Room. There will be signs at the venue directing you to your event. The address is 1860 Mellwood Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.

The ceremony will start around 6 pm. You are welcome to arrive any time after 5 pm.

Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at the venue! We do recommend that you lock your cars as it is a busy area with multiple events happening at the same time.

September in Louisville is always a guessing game when it comes to weather! It could be a cool fall day in the 60s or steamy hot in the 90s. It could be sunny, breezy, or rainy. The ceremony and reception will be indoors, however, so no matter what the weather is like outside, dress however is comfortable for you indoors.

We suggest semi-formal wear for the ceremony and reception. Don’t worry about renting a cocktail dress or tux unless you want to!

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. That being said, we will have a Photo Booth at the reception and encourage you to take as many pictures as you like at that point!

If your children were included on the invitation, you are welcome to bring them to the wedding. If you want to have a date night and leave them at home, that is great too!

We created the wedding registry to give people ideas of gifts to buy, but we would be grateful for any gift you are willing to give us. Thank you in advance for your generosity! An important note on the registry: Target and Amazon are two of the places we registered because it was the simplest process for us. If you don’t want to make purchases from these stores, we are happy to have alternatives from whatever store you enjoy.
