Our Wedding

Cody and Kerstan met at Boneshakers in Salem, OH. Kerstan started working there in 2016 and Cody started in 2019 as the bartender. They started dating in June of 2019 while Kerstan was home from school for the summer. When it was time for school to start back up, Kerstan moved back into an apartment in Bowling Green, OH, 3 hours away from Cody. Determined to see each other, Cody would drive up to Bowling Green from Sunday to Thursday and Kerstan would drive home Friday to Sunday. They also got a cat named Allie. When COVID hit and Kerstan moved home, they spent most of their days doing puzzles, riding skateboards, fishing, and cooking lots of yummy dinners. Not long after graduation, Kerstan decided to pursue a Master's degree at Liberty University in Virginia. Packing up everything they had, they decided to make the move together so Kerstan could continue on her career path. Cody got a job at Iron and Ale restaurant in Lynchburg, where he was a server in the meantime. They then moved back home into an apartment after graduation, closer to all the people they love. Currently, Kerstan and Cody are living in Salem. Kerstan is in Pharmacy school at NEOMED and Cody is the bartender at Boneshakers again. They also have another cat named Claire. They are beyond blessed with the best friends and families to love them and support them through their journey this far. They cannot wait to see what the future holds as Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz!
