Our Wedding

June 22, 2019.. Keshawn and Daili met for the first time. On the first day of meeting they instantly clicked, and it felt like they knew each other before. Throughout the day they got to know more about one another and discovered that Keshawn’s home congregation was now Daili’s new congregation! Which was a surprise to them both because they had never met or seen one another before that day. Then after the day they met they started seeing each other everywhere and all the time. Although they clicked from the start and were around one another more, the couple did not have an interest in dating one another at the time. Yet, family and friends were determined they would eventually get together or that they should be together, but Keshawn and Daili were in denial of their feelings for one another declaring to be nothing but friends. Overtime of course as the two talked more, hung out more and started to get closer; their feelings were undeniable. After months, Keshawn and Daili stopped trying to ignore the feelings they had for one another and made things official on June 22,2020.   Then on June 26,2021 as Daili was getting ready for what she thought was a posh picnic the couple had booked to celebrate their one year anniversary, but Keshawn had other plans in mind. He sent Daili a text message, throwing her a complete curveball, to go to the beach and meet him at the spot where they shared their first kiss so she could receive her first gift from him. When Daili arrived at the beach she didn’t see Keshawn, but rather some of her friends were waiting for her with a gift from him. After a few minutes she received another text message from him instructing her to head to Virginia Beach Town Center, where they shared their first official date, to receive her next gift. Once Daili arrived there, two of her dearest friends met her and gave the second gift from him. After receiving the second gift, Daili received instructions to follow one of her friends to the final location. Back where she started, Daili arrived at the final location and walked into her home to find her family and friends all waiting for her. After seeing her dad, who came from Ohio, Daili started crying and was led outside to Keshawn. Keshawn then asked Daili to marry him and through all the tears she said yes!   They look forward to celebrating the next part of their story with you all on January 10,2022.   #FormingIntoForemans

Glori aka Big Head is not just my big sister but she’s one of the people I know I can always count on and stick by my side through anything. She is always my biggest fan in everything I do and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else to be my maid of honor. We have our ups & downs but I dont know what I would ever do without her! We are sisters by blood, but best friends by choice!

JaLisa is one of the most caring and loving people I know. She is always doing for others, especially me, and her support is amazing! I am forever grateful to her as she is one of the people who helped me find my way back to Jehovah. Lis is my crying and laughing partner. She is truly my sister!

Nae Nae is literally the sweetest person in the world. Not only is she my cousin, but she is really my sister. Growing up we were two peas in a pod! I couldn’t picture myself getting married without her, as she has always been there for me since the sandbox.

Jaz, my best friend since the beginning. Even through the distance between us growing up nothing ever changed when we got together. We were inseparable, and still are! My life would not be the same without her in it.

NaDia aka as the many corny names I call her, like Cassadia, is one of the coolest people I know. She is the little cousin, but thinks she’s the oldest. She has brought so much happiness and joy to my life since she was born with all that wonderful personality in her. I always wanted a little sister, and I got Nah!

Nia Pea. This girl is one of the realest people I know. Whenever I  need someone to tell me what I need to hear, I can count on her. Or when I need someone to vent to, I can call her. She is filled with so much love and I am grateful to have her as a friend for life!

Ess! We have grown closer and closer, especially during this pandemic. Our service days, facetime talks, tik toks, picnics or just random outings to the mall  have helped me more than you know. She is always filled with such great vibes and energy!

Brionna Rashelle Little. Drives me completely insane! We are always picking on one another every chance we get. But Bri always shows up when I need her, listens to me when I need someone,  and offers me sound advice. I always enjoy our heart to hearts, and I wouldn’t change a thing about our friendship.

Over the years I’ve had many friends and met many people but not many have the vibrant personality of my cousin Tahj. He’s been with me through so much, and always been there for me when i needed him, having him as my best man was no question because i know that no matter what he’ll always have my back.

Growing up, Eric and I weren’t very close to start off, but as time progressed forward our bond and friendship took a leap further than I could’ve ever imagined. He was presented like family and even treated like family by my own, and today im happy to say he is family to me. Im glad to have a friend like him to rely on.

Quinston or as we call him “QP” is one of the most kind and funny guys I know, there hasn’t been a moment where i was feeling down and he wasn’t able to lift my spirits. Because of the joyful laughs we’ve shared, the comical pranks we’ve done, and the great experiences we’ve shared; QP has become a close friend to me.

Malachi and I go way back, knowing each other when we were just kids, he’s always been a great and loyal friend. Our friendship has only grown over time and it continues to even now.

DJ is a truly dependable and reliable person, out of all my friends he’s someone I can truly go to and talk about any problem. He’s always there to lend a helping hand where he can and those qualities hes shared have helped me out personally more than most know.

Out of all the groomsmen Kris is the one who hasn’t known me as long as the others, but has one of the biggest hearts. He has a way of expressing himself that brings joy to whomever he talks to, and can talk with anyone. What stands out about him most is his keen ability to help others from afar even ones who he doesnt know fully, hes a great example of what a true friend is.

Even though Javier is my cousin, it wasn’t the only factor for him being apart of my special day. Growing up Jay was one of the few people that helped me to gain confidence in myself and going after the things I wanted to, he doesn’t know how to leave someone out and hes always willing to make new friends. Jay is someone who is always there for you.

Jay is not just our nephew but we really think he belongs to us! Watching him grow up has been one of the greatest joys. We’re always asking him to choose who’s his best friend out of the two of us, but he always picks us both!
