How Ian met Kev is an uncommon story. Ian is a California boy and moved to Illinois for school and decided to stay instead of moving back to California, which is one of the best decisions Ian could have made. Somehow, Ian ended up moving to Aurora of all places in the country. Ian and Kev lived a few blocks from each other and never met until one fateful night. After our first date, and staying up all night talking, Ian fell instantly in love with Kev’s charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. From the moment they met each other, they knew it was something special. It was an instant connection that felt so natural, genuine, and peaceful. It felt like home. We could talk to each other for hours about anything. Kev was instantly drawn in by Ian’s calming, funny and authentic charm. From day one, Ian knew Kev was the one. After a year, Ian and Kev, and his Frenchie (Boo-boo) decided to move in together. These last two years we have loved our lazy days, talks, and traveling.

On an extremely rainy day in October 2023, Ian suggested going on a walk on the Chicago River walk. Kev was extremely hesitant to go on the walk due to the weather, but after much persuasion, Kev agreed, and it was definitely worth it. Ian proposed in the pouring rain, and the answer was an instant “yes”.
