Our Wedding

Although Keven and Aja both attended Occidental College, they never met while on campus. It wasn't until Fall 2016 that they would meet. Keven's brother and Aja's best friend, Derrick, would introduce the two of them at Hotel Shantel in New York City. The two would go on a date on Columbus Day and not speak to each other for 3 years. In the Spring of 2019, they would be brought back together again by the same friend in New Orleans. During this trip, the two of them would reconnect and become fast friends. At the time Aja was living in NYC pursuing her legal career and Keven was living in Mexico City knee-deep in the start-up space. Their friendship consisted of long phone calls, video calls, and it was through these calls that they became very close. In the winter of 2020, the two of them found each other in Los Angeles and on February 24 began to date. In May of 2020, during the pandemic, Keven and Aja moved in together in NYC and the rest was history.
