What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Jacket & tie, cocktail dress, or something comparable is recommended.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony is taking place at Our Lady of the Valley Parish located on 33 Adams Street, Easthampton, MA. The ceremony starts at 1:30PM and will include a full Catholic mass. We recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so they can get settled before the proceedings. Following the ceremony, there will be a couple of hours break prior to the reception. The reception will take place at the Roosevelt Room within the Union Station Banquets located at 125A Pleasant St, Northampton, MA. The venue is a historic train station that has been converted into a beautiful ballroom. Cocktail hour starts at 4:30PM with dinner & dancing to follow. Ample parking is available at the Union Station.
Will the cocktail hour and wedding reception be indoor or outdoor events?
Both the cocktail hour and wedding reception are indoor events.
Can I have more information on the shuttling service?
There will be two shuttle buses picking guests up from the hotel and dropping them off at the wedding venue in time for cocktail hour. A large yellow shuttle bus will depart from the Hampton Inn at approximately 3:45PM and the Residence Inn at approximately 3:55PM. A smaller shuttle bus will also be making the same trip. The yellow bus will depart from the Roosevelt Room at 9:00PM, 10:00PM, 11:00PM, and 12:30AM to return guests back to the two hotels. Please specify in your RSVP if you plan on taking the shuttle bus to ensure we have enough space for everyone.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Can I bring my children?
We are very sorry, but we are unable to extend the invitation to children (unless otherwise specified on your invitation). We hope you can still join us on our special day.
Will there be an after-party?
Yes. Following the reception, there will be an after-party at the Tunnel Bar Loft located down the hall from the Roosevelt Room. There will be late night snacks and a cash bar.
