“First impressions last,” they say — but in our case, they definitely didn’t.

Kevin & Donna both know how much they used to hate each other. Kevin was the “arrogant and self-confident junior nurse” who looked so full of himself, and Donna was the “snobbish senior nurse” Kevin never wanted to be with on duty in the ER. Kevin even said he would rather be pulled out than work with Donna. That was our first impression with each other and who would’ve thought that one day, there would be an us?

From co-workers, to friends, to lovers, we truly leveled up! Looks like we got infected by the “hospital-acquired relationship virus " :) -- Kidding aside.

We both knew we weren’t each other’s “ideal” type. We’re complete opposites. Donna was not the typical sweet girl, and don’t have the “chic body” that Kevin's always wanted. Kevin always teased Donna, calling her the “rough one — eats like a hungry pig, always fussy, with messy hair that looks like it never gets brushed.” And Kevin was like "arrogant and always find himself so handsome" and always tag as "babaero".

We’ve shared so many things together from heartbreaks to finding new ones but it seems like fate was just playing with us.

It all started with just one chat. We began exchanging personal thoughts and opinions about life, love and future plans. Kevin even show his "crushes or prospects" to Donna and asking for her opinion. At first, it was nothing — just casual conversations. But we didn’t realize that those constant exchanges became part of our daily routine… until we found ourselves falling in love.

Then came the day Kevin said,

“It’s starting to feel awkward.”

That day, we both knew something had changed that there was something special already. Still, we didn’t rush things. We stayed good friends, went with the flow, and trusted that the right love comes at the right time. And true enough — it did.

And now, here we are, with our little one Vin, still laughing, still teasing and still choosing each other every single day. From "I hate you" to "I do".
