The High Line runs above 10th Avenue from Gansevoort St up to Hudson Yards. Enjoy art installations and amazing architecture, and do some people watching at the Observation Deck (above 17th street).
For a more free form walk, Central Park is located just two avenues over from the Empire Hotel. Wander aimlessly until Linnea tells you she's cold and wants to go home.
Go for a ride on the East River Ferry, one of the most pleasant ways to see the Manhattan skyline and all of Kevin's favorite bridges.
