We met online during the July 4th weekend of 2014 as Kevin drove through D.C. on the way home from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Alex just happened to be teaching fitness classes in D.C. Alex visited Kevin in Charlottesville, VA, during Midsummer's Weekend on July 12, 2014, and their first date was at Mono Loco, a now closed, but amazing Mexican restaurant.

Our first vacation was At Melissas' Bed and Breakfast in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware just a few weeks later that summer. Kevin and Alex visited each other back and forth until August of 2015, when Alex came to live in Charlottesville, VA. While we've changed jobs a few times since and now work up in D.C., we still find time to visit Charlottesville, Rehoboth and recently Richmond.

Kevin proposed at our favorite vacation spot with our parents and beach family surrounding us. And now we can't wait to celebrate with all of you at that same place during our Wedding and 10th Anniversary in July 2024!
