Spend the afternoon exploring the Old Port of Montreal. Great food, sights, and history to be enjoyed!
The most fun way to see the city by water and get completely soaked as you barrel through the Lachine rapids in a jet boat. A classic Montreal experience!
See Cirque du Soleil's newest show, Kurios, in the old port in the last few days of its Montreal run (ending Sunday July 14th!)
Try a famous Montreal bagel fresh out of the oven - they're in an entirely different food group than NY bagels for the Americans among us. Some say St. Viateur across the street is better - why not try them both? (But try not to have 6 in one sitting!)
Enjoy an exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in downtown Montreal.
Visit the Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal- a miniature version of the one in Paris!
Spend a few hours shopping (and taking advantage of the US dollar) on Rue Ste. Catherine, Montreal's shopping street. Make sure to check out the underground city, a pedestrian network right under the heart of the city that links shopping plazas for over 33 kilometres (about 20.5 miles).
