Our Wedding

We first met freshman year of high school back in 2006. K: With having mutual friends we stayed connected throughout our high school years. Frequently hanging out with our group of friends Courtney had always caught my eye. I remember thinking she has the sweetest voice and was always very outgoing. Thinking she was out of my league I was always trying to be as sarcastic and funny as possible in attempts to gain her attention or get a second glance and a smile. C: Kevin definitely had my attention. Not only because of his good looks but because he was always so fun to be around. It was always an adventure. One of my first and favorite memories with Kevin is when he gave me a ride on the handle bars of his bike. I didn’t trust our friend, Murphy (a.k.a. Kevin’s best man) enough to get on his bike but I hardly hesitated when the option was given for me to ride with Kevin. I remember being so nervous and it wasnt because of the bike ride. Although we continued through high school as friends we had gotten to know each other fairly well over the years. Sometime while we were cruising around in the jeep with the windows down and the music up or while he was teaching me to drive standard my attraction to Kevin kept growing. In the Fall of 2010 we hung out just the two of us for the first time. After that, we were pretty much together as often as possible, making our relationship official in June of 2011. Things were great and we brought our Dexter dog home in the early Spring of 2014. Unfortunately, a couple years after getting our boy, life changed when we decided to go our separate ways. If you truly love something let it go, if it comes back it was meant to be. We know most people are familiar with some variation of that saying but for us it has so much meaning. After six years we reconnected and both immediately knew that we still loved each other and didnt want to be apart any longer. Kevin proposed in October 2023 and here we are now ready to start forever together.
