9 years ago, Kevin and Chelsea met in Oregon, Ohio at Matthews Ford. Kevin interviewed Chelsea for a position in his department. Chelsea got the job, Kevin trained her, and they worked together for 10 months, getting to know each other and becoming great friends. When Chelsea got a new job, Kevin asked her out on their first date. They went and had pizza at a local tavern, and talked all night. On the way home, Chelsea couldnt help but think about how special this person was, and how great it was to spend time with someone who genuinely wanted to know her, and how much more she wanted to get to know him. It was snowing, pretty hard, and like a gentleman, he walked her to the door. As they said goodbye, they shared their first kiss. Something out of a movie. The snow, the lights, it was perfect. Kevin and Chelsea spent almost everyday together after that. Creating countless memories and getting to know each other, all while their love grew each moment. Each memory holding a special place in their hearts, big and small. One of their favorite memories was in Point Place, about 20 mins from Kevins house. They had to cancel their plans because of a nasty snow storm and people couldnt drive. They were bummed. As she was winding down for the night, he texts her and tells her to look outside. Through the window, she sees him get off his snowmobile; he drove through the woods to her apartment so they could spend time together. Just one of the many memories imprinted in their minds. Being goofy, being themselves without feeling any fear of what the other would think. Being spontaneous and always rooting for each other, that is so special. Every moment is so special, and they wanted to have that forever. As they planned their trip to Maine in 2024, little did she know Kevin had his own secret plan in action. Kevin and Chelsea spent 10 days, driving from Ohio to Maine, and making stops along the way. They stopped in Marblehead and Salem, MA, Vermont, Niagara Falls, and most importantly, Maine. Such a beautiful place. Everyday they had an adventure, and spent a lot of time in Acadia National Park. Their second day there, May 8th, they stopped at the trail called Otter Cliff. They walked out and were enjoying the beautiful views. It was breathtaking. The next view she saw when she turned around, was him down on one knee asking her to be his wife!! Now, they will have that forever, each other; and they cannot wait to join this union together, with the ones they love the most. LETS GET MARRIED!!!!
