Kevin and Joyce first met on the online dating app Coffee Meets Bagel two years ago. From the moment they first matched, they felt a special connection, and they even met for dinner on the same day! At the time, Joyce had just moved to Seattle from Vancouver, BC, for work and was still finding her way around. Kevin invited her to his church, Downtown Cornerstone Church (DCC) where they stayed as friends. From there, Joyce witnessed God provide a home for her in Seattle and among DCC. She even witnessed Kevin’s baptism!

As time went on, Kevin and Joyce were brought together in mutual activities where they were able to know each other better and work together as a team. Encouraged by this, at the beginning of 2025, Kevin asked Joyce to consider whether she would consider being more than friends, and she said yes!

From there, Kevin and Joyce have been blessed with the Lord, community, friends, family, and elders who all played crucial parts in making their relationship possible. Over the course of the year, the Lord provided them the clarity they were looking for from their relationship. It was then in August that Kevin proposed to Joyce at Carmel-by-the-Sea Beach, and she said yes again!

Though we are talking about Kevin and Joyce here, we truly believe that “our story” is about all of you. Thank you all for being a part of making our union possible. We humbly invite you all to join the celebration of the bringing together of Kevin and Joyce before the Lord!

從那時起，Kevin 和 Joyce 因著主的祝福，得到了許多教會肢體、朋友、家人和長輩的重要支持，讓他們在關係裡繼續的成長。這一年裡，上帝賜給了他們在這段感情裡更清楚的認識。就在八月，Kevin 在加州的卡梅爾海灘 （Carmel-by-the-Sea）向Joyce 求婚，Joyce 也答應了！
