Our Story

Kevin and Louise's paths first crossed while they were both serving on the board of a local nonprofit organization. Their initial meeting didn’t ignite any sparks; in fact, it was far from their thoughts. However, as time passed, Kevin began to see something special in Louise—something that caught his eye.

Unfortunately, Louise - being the professional that she is - didn’t pick up on Kevin’s interest right away!

Undeterred, Kevin became more creative in his efforts to win Louise’s attention and started showing up at random events and making small talk. Each interaction piqued the other's interest - and brought lots of laughs! The turning point came when Kevin invited Louise to his radio show's anniversary party. Louise had begun listening to Sports Shop with Reese and KMac and despite her lack of interest in sports generally, she wanted to know more about KMac. She said yes, and that was the beginning of a beautiful connection.

As the months rolled on, Kevin and Louise discovered an incredible bond, filled with shared interests and laughter. One day, Louise boldly asked, “So, are we dating?” Kevin’s heart leaped as he replied, “Of course! Took you long enough!”

Louise soon introduced Kevin to her family and friends, presenting him with a long list of names. Little did she know, Kevin embraced this challenge with open arms, eager to learn more about the people that shaped her life. Each family gathering, birthday celebration, and sibling meetup brought them closer, solidifying the realization that Louise was the woman who would change his life forever.

After several unforgettable vacations and weekend getaways, it was time for Louise to meet Kevin’s family beyond the confines of phone calls and video chats. They decided to bring eight of Kevin's family members from Mississippi to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a week of bonding and fun—what an adventure that turned out to be!

Through these experiences, Louise discovered that Kevin’s love for his children and family wasn’t just a statement; it was a way of life. Kevin and Louise's journey together has been filled with laughter, love, and a deepening faith that has guided them every step of the way.
