When should we arrive in Ireland?
Our wedding will take place on a Saturday, but we recommend you come a few days early to adjust to the timezone and get some rest before the big day! There may be rooms available in the hotel block on the Friday and Sunday around the wedding, but they could also go quickly! There is other accommodation nearby if needed. We will also have a day 2 celebration that everyone is invited to join and stay an additional night in the area if interested!
How will we get to the wedding venue from the airport in Dublin?
There is a connecting flight that will take you to the Carrickfinn Airport in Donegal, if you choose to fly. It will take approximately 45 minutes. The airport is 15 minutes from the venue. Another option is renting a car or buying a bus ticket and driving to Donegal, which is close to 4 hours.
How will I get from the venue to the church?
We will have a bus to bring guests from the Waterfront hotel to the church, and back again after the ceremony. The bus journey between the church and venue is approximately 5-10 minutes and will leave at approximately 12:30pm (TBC). It may need to complete a few trips, depending on the demand for the bus.
