Our Story 

Our story technically started in second grade - though back then, we had no clue we'd end up here. Fast-forward to high school, and friendship suddenly felt like more, sparked by a first date binge-watching The Office. Over the last decade, we've navigated every awkward phase, questionable decision, and adulting milestone side-by-side. We've shared dorm buildings, graduate schools, and even a tiny 400 sq ft apartment during COVID, proving once and for all that if you just stay really physically close to someone for a long time, you will fall in love and get married. Our year-long stint apart, when Kevin moved to DC, taught us that distance only made our inside jokes funnier and our FaceTimes longer. We push each other creatively and personally, relentlessly supporting each other's dreams, weird hobbies, and everything in between. Our beloved German Shepherd, Freya, thinks we're pretty hilarious too, but she refuses to explain our jokes to outsiders. Steph spends her days helping autistic children find their voices as a speech therapist, while Kevin pours creative energy into the shared dream they’ve been slowly building together. Beyond everything, we're best friends—partners in crime who understand each other in ways words, timelines, or labels could never fully explain. Now, we're stepping into this next chapter, hand in hand, hearts wide open—confident that this love—the kind we built across decades, distance, and dog hair—is the most honest, joyful, and right thing we've ever chosen.

Hi, I’m Mady! I’m Stephanie and Kevin’s officiant! I’ve know Steph and Kevin since we were children, but it wasn’t until our freshman year of college that we got super close. I remember HS senior year English class, I turned to Steph and asked her plans for college. We both said “ BG” and that we hadn’t chosen a roommate yet. Of course, we were both too quiet and shy to just ask each other to be roommates. That night at dinner, I told my parents about Steph and they made me text her right then and there. Turns out, her and I are the exact same person so she was also too nervous to ask me. That decision changed the course of my life. Steph and Kevin have become my family and I cannot wait to celebrate them on their special day!

Mady Craft 

I am the oldest in our fam and Steph will always be my ‘little sister’. Even though she’s grown into an incredible woman, she'll always be that creative and passionate soul I’ve watched grow up. I’m incredibly proud of everything she’s accomplished, especially in her work as a speech therapist with her kiddos! I miss having her close, especially seeing her with our son Brantley —she’s an amazing aunt and their bond is something I truly treasure. As she begins this new chapter with Kevin, I pray that they support and lift each other through all of life’s ups and downs, and that their relationship continues to grow stronger, grounded in love and guided by faith. No matter where life takes her, she’ll always have my love and support.

No matter how grown-up she gets, Steph/Stevie/Steeb, will always be the youngest of the three of us — the one who always kept us laughing. Watching her grow into the incredible woman she is today has been a joy, and now we get to watch her take this next beautiful step and sacred journey ahead, marriage.
You’re such a beautiful person inside and out and the way you care in your job and care for family and friends around you, is truly special. You are an amazing aunt to all the kiddos, and best ‘Tiss’ there is to Clara and Oakley.
May God bless you Steph and Kevin as you enter marriage, which is  more than a celebration — it’s a sacred promise. It’s a covenant built on love, strengthened by faith, and upheld by deep trust. It means choosing each other every day, even when it’s hard. It means believing in something greater than yourselves, and walking hand in hand with hope, grace, and commitment.

I met Steph & Kevin in 2016 during our first year of college at BGSU. Toga parties, casual dorm hangs, and late-night snack runs were just the beginning of our growing friendship. I felt like I had known Steph for years! Fast forwarding to our junior year of college, Steph, Mady, Justine and I all roomed together in a small house on Reed Street we called Narnia. I don't know if meeting them was fate or destiny, but my life has changed for the better with this beautiful couple in it. I've learned so much about myself and the world all because of my friendship with Steph. I can't continue to see this couple thrive and grow, cheers to be beautiful bride and groom!

Britton Siler 

Ph.D. candidate studying cancer biology with a passion for translational research and precision medicine! My work focuses on utilizing cutting edge molecular biology techniques to nominate novel therapeutic targets in cancer. Through my work, I have developed expertise in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and data analysis/presentation. I am eager to collaborate on projects that bridge the gap between research and clinical applications. Open to opportunities in biotech, pharma, and academic-industry partnerships.
