FAQ

What should I wear?

We would love to see our friends and family get all dressed up with us! Dress to impress in your best Formal Cocktail Garden Party attire. Our bridesmaids will be in shades of champagne while our groomsmen will all be in tan suits. Please avoid jeans/denim and shades of white. We recommend a suit and tie, nice sport coat, and colorful floor-length, tea-length, or midi-length dresses. The ceremony will be held outside in a grassy area. Looking for inspiration? Can I bring my kids?

While we love your little ones—you deserve a night away! We will not be able to accommodate children under the age of 12. We kindly request you leave your children at home and hope that this advance notice allows you to make the necessary arrangements. We're excited to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it's specifically indicated on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If your indicated plus one can no longer attend, please let us know. We kindly ask you do not fill this spot with someone else. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. We recommend arriving no later than 4:30 p.m! This will give you plenty of time to park and find your seat before things begin!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! The Oaks has a parking lot and overnight parking is permitted. If you are parking your car overnight, please retrieve it NO LATER THAN 12 PM the following day.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Please party accordingly and have a way to get home safely :) (Ubers and Lyfts are a great option!)

Do you have a hotel room block?

Yes! The wedding party is staying at The Inverness Hotel 200 INVERNESS DR W, ENGLEWOOD, CO 80112 (About 20 min away from the venue). We have arranged a block of rooms at a discounted rate. To book your room, first click the 'Travel' button in the menu above. From the Travel page, click the 'Website' button located underneath "The Inverness Hotel" to be redirected to the booking page with our discounted rate. You can also call (303) 799-5800 and mention the code 'SIMI' to the representative to take advantage of our discounted rate.

Is transportation provided?

A shuttle will depart from the Inverness Hotel to the wedding venue at 3:45 PM. Priority is given to out-of-state family and bridal party significant others. Extra seats may be available for other Inverness guests, but please be prepared to use Uber/Lyft or drive yourself if needed. After the event, three shuttles will return to the hotel: one at 9:30 PM and two at 11:00 PM. Again, priority goes to the wedding party, their significant others, and family members staying at The Inverness. Others may need to use Uber/Lyft. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
