Kevin and Yanira’s story began in Ventura, California, on what they both thought would be a quick first date. A simple bite turned into hours of endless conversation and laughter—so much so that neither wanted the night to end. In a moment that still makes them laugh, they both secretly wanted to order buffalo wings, but decided against it in an effort to impress each other (two messy eaters trying to be classy).After many dates filled with ice cream runs and dancing nights, everything changed with a first kiss on the beach. In that moment, they both knew this was something special and that one day, it would lead to marriage.Kevin later surprised Yanira with a proposal in Yosemite, California. After weeks of careful planning and sneaky preparation, he managed to completely catch her off guard (a true accomplishment). Yanira was shocked, emotional and of course, said yes.Yanira loves Kevin for his patience, loving heart, incredible breakfasts, and perfectly made morning coffee. Kevin loves Yanira for her genuine, compassionate, endlessly supportive and for always pushing him to get to the gym. Together, they’re so excited to celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them.
