Okay guys. I personally think that the story of Kevin and I is the most epic love story EVER. I love to tell it to literally anyone who even asks the slightest question about how we first met. It is a long story but worth every second so buckle up!

Kevin and Lilly began talking through social media and text messages on April 1st 2021. They texted every day (like every teenager does) for about a month. They found out that their moms knew each other and also had similar jobs and backgrounds. Kevin and Lilly bonded over similar interests and also through similar challenges they had faced in life. A few days before they met in person, Kevin told Lilly he was supposed to be leaving Utah to do summer sales in Florida for 6 months. Lilly was sad to hear he was leaving but still wanted to meet him before he left in two weeks. So, Kevin asked Lilly on a date to the Hurricane Carnival.

As many of our close friends and family know, Lilly had been fighting serious chronic health conditions for many years. Earlier that year in February, Lilly found out she had Dysautonomia. It is an autonomic nervous system disorder that made her bedridden for about 4 years. She struggled going to public school or hanging out with friends. By April she had been doing much better since finding out what was wrong with her body. However she still struggled in public places especially in big crowds (like a carnival)Did you pick up on that foreshadowing?.

Lilly agreed to meet him at the fair so they could hangout. She gathered up her mom, dad, sister, and brother-in-law to come with her so she wouldn't be alone. Once she arrived at the fair she instantly became very sick and anxious around such a large group of people. Kevin had texted her that he was there and was wondering where she was. Lilly got so nervous to meet him while she was feeling so sick. . Lilly describes the feeling like a movie scene, lights flashing, she was spinning, the carnival music blaring in her ears and she decided she just needed to leave. Her family followed behind her as she cried and cried and cried while fleeing the fairgrounds. Of course Kevin had no clue this was happening. He thought she just wasn't texting back and didn't want to meet. He spent the rest of the night with his friends at the carnival thinking Lilly just ditched him. Lilly spent the car ride home and the rest of the night crying and wishing her health conditions could just go away so she could be a normal teenager.

Kevin and Lilly spent the next few days still vaguely texting and Lilly thought she lost her chance. 5 days after the carnival, Lilly decided to reach out to Kevin and see if he would come to Starbucks with her....Filled with butterflies she typed it out and clicked send. She threw her phone on the couch walked away and waited for him to respond....

Kevin and Lilly met April 22nd, 2021 when Lilly picked him up to take him on a Starbucks date. A 20 minute errand became a 6 hour first date until the very last second of Lilly's 12:00AM curfew. They were inseparable for the next 10 days. They basically spent the whole 12 hours of every day together. Lilly's family prayed for her to feel good every time she left the house to see Kevin. She wanted them to work so bad. Now...like I mentioned before...Kevin was going to be leaving for Florida 10 days after they met. After spending the most memorable 10 days and bonding over EVERYTHING he was LEAVING????? They both felt devastated. Lilly felt like he was made for her. After writing the most romantic and joyful journal entry about how perfect Kevin is, Lilly decided that she was going to give him an ultimatum. She told him "You can ask me out and I'll come visit you in Florida as your girlfriend or you can leave but I'm not waiting for you unless you are my boyfriend. I don't want to wait 6 months for a situationship."

The night before Kevin was supposed to leave, Lilly came over to hangout and say goodbye. That night Kevin asked Lilly to be his girlfriend and she said YESSSSS!!!! Kevin left to drive to Florida with his best friend Chayton that next morning.

Lilly and Kevin did long distance for the next 2 months. They FaceTimed every single night as long as they could. Lilly planned a trip out to Florida to visit him around his birthday in July. Lilly and her family drove out to Wisconsin to visit family and then after a week Lilly was going to fly out to Florida with her best friend and sister.

Kevin was working long days until both of his friends had decided to go home. After being out in Florida alone and without his friends for a week or so, he decided he wanted to go home too. The only problem was that Lilly was supposed to be visiting him. While Lilly was in Wisconsin, Kevin told her he was leaving Florida. They figured out a plan and Kevin began his trip driving up to Wisconsin from Florida!

He spent two days on the road until he made it to Wisconsin to meet ALL of Lilly's family and spend the next 10 days with them. Kevin got to see the property where Lilly grew up and spend so much quality time with family. Lilly and Kevin wanted to get back to Utah by Kevin's birthday on July 5th. They left Wisconsin and began their two day roadtrip back. After a long trip with an insane amount of hiccups,(A whole other story) they made it back to Utah safe. Lilly met all of Kevin's amazing family over the next few days.

And the rest is history!!

History I can still tell you about!! Okay I'm kidding, here are just some milestones!!

October 22 2021-6 months together!

December 2021- We decided to move in together!

February 22 2022- We moved into out first home in Utah!

April 22 2022- ONE WHOLE YEAR TOGETHER

April 25 2022- We moved into our second home in Utah! (DON'T ASK!!!)

July 2022- We went to Hawaii together!

October 2022- We both started our own businesses! Love, Lilly Florals and Rollin Rowley Enterprises

December 2022- We decided to move to GEORGIA!

February 1 2023- We started our 4 day road-trip to Georgia! We bought a 5th wheel camper and put everything we owned inside. Then we hauled a BIG RIG to GA!

February-December 2023- We spent all of 2023 working on the farm in Georgia and traveling around the country! It was such a fulfilling year! We both met new AMAZING FRIENDS(shoutout to Devin and Lily) and learned so much!

April 22 2023- 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! <3

DECEMBER 9 2023- My sweet boy asked me to marry him<3 It was the best moment of my entire life. I don't thinking I will ever stop crying when I think about it!!!!!

I am so lucky to have met the person God designed for me. It has been the happiest few years of our lives. I thank God every day for blessing me with Kevin. I hope you can all come and celebrate with us on June 1st!!!
