How We Met

Kevin and Kelly met the summer before their junior year of college at UCSB. Kelly was pursuing her BS in Mathematics, while Kevin was working toward his BA in Environmental Studies. From the moment they met, it was clear that they had a special connection.

Our Family

Kevin and Kelly also have two additional family members named Kirby and Yoda. Yoda is a sweet Long Haired Russian Blue Cat who was given to Kelly when he was about a week old. Kirby is an Australian Cattle Dog Chihuahua mix who was found on the side of the road in Bakersfield when she was just 10 weeks old. Together, the four of them share in some of their favorite activities like family naps and outdoor expeditions.

Our Journeys

Kelly recently completed her Master's in Education at UC Santa Barbara, with an emphasis on Mathematics Education. She is now employed as a high school math teacher at River City High School in West Sacramento, where she is passionate about inspiring the next generation of mathematicians.

Kevin will be starting at the California Highway Patrol Academy in late September. He will undergo six months of intense training to become a fully badged officer, dedicating himself to serving and protecting the community.
