Our Wedding

With a shared major and several mutual friends, we were bound to cross paths. One semester, we landed in all the same classes and decided to start sitting together. It didn’t take long before casual conversations turned into something more, and we realized we truly enjoyed each other’s company. Over the next few years, and despite the many miles between us, we've made lots of amazing memories: graduating together, hiking National Parks together, and many trips visiting each other's families. Through it all, we’ve come to appreciate the ways we are similar and admire the many ways we are different. Our engagement was peaceful and true to us. On a weekend trip up to a small mountain town, we got up early to hike to a waterfall. While admiring the view from a bridge over the water, the big question was asked, and a big "yes" was said.

Con una carrera en común y varios amigos en común, era inevitable que nos cruzáramos. Un semestre, coincidimos en todas las clases y decidimos empezar a sentarnos juntos. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que las conversaciones informales se convirtieran en algo más, y nos dimos cuenta de que realmente disfrutábamos de la compañía mutua. Durante los años siguientes, y a pesar de los muchos kilómetros que nos separaban, hemos creado recuerdos increíbles: graduarnos juntos, recorrer juntos los parques nacionales y visitar a nuestras respectivas familias en numerosas ocasiones. A lo largo de todo este tiempo, hemos llegado a apreciar nuestras similitudes y a admirar nuestras diferencias. Nuestro compromiso fue tranquilo y sincero. En un viaje de fin de semana a un pequeño pueblo de montaña, madrugamos para ir de excursión a una cascada. Mientras admirábamos la vista desde un puente sobre el agua, nos hicieron la gran pregunta y respondimos con un rotundo "sí".

Our wedding and reception will be held at Chateau 1800, just 30 minutes outside of downtown Savannah. There is open water throughout this property, so please monitor the safety of your children. We will begin welcoming guests at 4:30 pm, with the ceremony starting at 5:00 pm. Please aim to arrive at 4:30 pm so everyone can be seated and settled before the ceremony begins. We kindly ask guests to wear formal garden party attire. This is light, flowey, floral, and colorful. Please refrain from wearing anything primarily white. Please plan for warm, humid weather.
