Kevyn Priddy and Kara Cherms met just before the summer of 2019 while Kevyn was residing in Vermont. Despite their shared years at Argyle High School and an array of mutual friends, the paths of these two souls had remained uncrossed. Yet, in the realm of serendipity, Kevyn's comical photobombing in group photos with Kara and her social circle, and other little encounters, had already woven the threads of fate.

It was then through the passing of words by a trusted mutual acquaintance that the stars finally aligned. A newfound connection emerged, and soon, their conversations, like a timeless serenade, resonated across the phone lines. Quickly, the days turned into months, and their bond grew ever more intricate.

Around this time Kevyn found himself returning to Texas, just for a visit, with a one way flight. The days spent together seemingly flew by, and somewhere along the way the concept of a return flight to Vermont seemed to dissolve. For love, once ignited, is an indomitable force and the rest, as they say, is history.
