Keyton and Nicole originally met while he was working as an EMT for Sioux City Fire and she was working as a CNA at a local nursing home. The nursing home staff would tease Nicole when they had to call for emergency help that her "boyfriend" was coming to see her. A friend of Nicole's who worked at the nursing home happened to have graduated with Keyton's older sister and introduced them at Bergie's downtown one night (shoutout Kelsey!!). It was instant chemistry and they knew they wanted to see each other again. Fast forward almost three years - they own a home they share with their dog, Layla, and are so excited to officially become the Ruskamps with the people they love most surrounding them.
