In the midst of an extraordinary year, our paths crossed unexpectedly, proving that love can bloom even in the most unlikely circumstances. It all started in May 2020, during the height of the pandemic, when we connected through a Christian dating app. Little did we know that this digital encounter would forever change our lives.

We found ourselves drawn to each other's thoughts, dreams, and aspirations. It was then that we realized there was something truly special brewing between us.

October arrived, and with it, a pivotal moment in our story. In a heartfelt and poetic request, Will drove all the way to Indiana, eager to meet Kezia in person. They had their first date in a pumpkin patch at Landess Farm, and before Will could make his journey home, he knew that he couldn't leave Indiana without making it an official relationship. On that memorable day, October 17, 2020, we officially became a couple, igniting a flame that would withstand the challenges of distance and time.

Our love blossomed across miles, with Facetime calls, letters and visits becoming the lifelines that kept our connection strong. We navigated the demands of school and life, cheering each other on from afar. It was during these periods of physical separation that we discovered the immense power of love and faith.

Even when circumstances kept us apart, our relationship thrived. We found solace in prayer, seeking guidance and strength to grow individually and together. In January 2022, as we fervently sought the Lord's will about our relationship, we felt a resounding affirmation to embark on a lifelong journey together in marriage. The biggest confirmation during our conversation was being in sync about our wedding date, giving us the peace we needed to navigate through a challenging season.

The rest of 2022 was dedicated to nurturing our bond on a spiritual level. We immersed ourselves in devotions, cherishing intentional moments of deep conversation and shared faith. In January 2023, after seeking the blessing of our families, Will had the incredible honor of asking for Kezia's dad for her hand in marriage. Receiving this blessing was a huge shift in our relationship and the start of a new era as we had the blessing from our family to begin planning a life together.

Then, in May 2023, amidst a backdrop of May showers, blooming flowers, and overwhelming joy, the question was popped "Will you be my future Mrs. Wright, Sweetpea", and a resounding "Of course! Yes!" sealed our love for eternity.
