We met online during the peak of quarantine for the pandemic and talked over the phone for a while before meeting each other. Our first date was May 9, 2020, which is also the day we officially started dating.

John graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Due to the pandemic, there was no in-person ceremony.

We went on our first out-of-state trip to Ironwood, Michigan. We swam in Lake Superior, hiked, and hung out with our friends.

We took a trip to Devil's Lake State Park and hiked around the lake.

We went to Wausau and rode the ski lift to the top of Rib Mountain and hiked around the top. The views were great at the top.

May 9, 2021, was the day we spent one year together. We went to dinner at Pinewood supper club and went to a movie afterward. This was our first time going to a movie together after the movie theaters were closed for over a year.

Khila bought her first house a few days after she turned 21. John moved into the house with Khila and helped her with renovations. The kitchen had a full remodel and other rooms including the bathroom, bedrooms, mud room, garage, and closets, as well as the exterior also had renovations soon after.

Khila graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in interior architecture and a minor in business administration. Khila graduated with high honors, awards, and three sets of cords from organizations she was a part of.

For our Christmas presents to each other, we went on a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. We explored the Vegas strip and Fremont street, went on the High Roller, went to a magic show, and more.

We got our first puppy together and named her Brandi. We adopted her from a Madison animal rescue that rescues animals from Alabama. After getting a genetic analysis done, we found out she is a large mixture of breeds. Her most prominent breeds are Maltese, Dachshund, and Jack Russell terrier.

We spent two years together.

For Khila's 23rd birthday, we went to a Milwaukee Brewers game. The Brewers won!

We went on a trip with the rest of the Stanczyk family to Colorado. We hiked the mountains 12,005 feet above sea level, went to the Denver zoo, aquarium, and more.

Khila surprised John with concert tickets to Alan Jackson on the second year anniversary. John had a great time!

On our 3rd year anniversary, we enjoyed a night out by getting dinner together and going to a new distillery in Stevens Point.

We went on our second cruise with our friends Joseph, Morgan, Samantha, and Jeffrey. We started in New Orleans enjoying Mardi Gras. We then embarked on our week-long cruise exploring Mexico, Honduras, and Belize.

I had two amazing Bridal Showers. One with the Nigon side celebrating the three soon to be brides, Krysal, Karie Jo, and myself. As well as a bridal shower with the Stanczyk Side.
