It all started in the most organic way on the eve of Khushbu’s 24th birthday. A couple of friends of Dhruv’s came to his house for some food. They mentioned that her roommate was also with them and if it’s okay if she comes as well. Dhruv, who loves to cook for anyone and everyone, was more than willing to. The roommate was no other than Khushbu! After a meal and some ice cream, Khushbu and Dhruv exchanged numbers and started to get to know each other.

After getting to know each other, Khushbu and Dhruv got to know each other’s families and friends. And after a couple years of Khushbu being in Philly and then moving back to North Carolina to continue dental school, Khushbu and Dhruv did their Sakar Nariyel vidhi and had their vidhi sanctified by Mahant Swami Maharaj in 2023.

During a trip in April of 2024 to Turkey and Malta, Dhruv decided to propose to Khushbu while looking out into the beautiful landscape of the island.

Fast forward to today as you’re reading this and preparing to attend the beginning of the rest of their lives, Khushbu and Dhruv really look forward to meeting everyone as they celebrate this next step in their life!
