Matao Agan - Co-Man of Honor
Matao isn’t just Kiara’s brother—he’s also her best friend. Despite their seven-year age gap, they’re more alike than either of them would probably admit. They’ve had their fair share of sibling disagreements (since neither is ever willing to admit they’re wrong), but those moments are far outweighed by the laughter, joy, and unbreakable bond they share. Kiara is beyond grateful to have Matao by her side on this special day—just as she’s so “thankful” for all the times he tattled on her to their mom.
Blake Apple - Co-Maid of Honor
Blake Apple may soon be Kiara’s sister-in-law, but in their hearts, they’ve been sisters for as long as they can remember. Fun fact: Blake actually knew Kiara before Hunter did—they were gymnastics teammates long before love entered the picture! Over the years, their bond has only grown stronger, with Blake always being the first to support Kiara’s ever-growing plant collection because "yes, she definitely needs another one". Kiara is beyond grateful to have Blake by her side on this special day—though this time, thankfully, not in their blue and gold leotards.
Mariko Dupuis - Bridesmaid
If we’re speaking technically, Mariko technically proposed to Kiara first—in kindergarten. During circle time, she asked Kiara if she wanted to be friends and sealed the deal with a ring she pulled out of her lunchbox. That moment sparked a friendship that has stood the test of time. In high school, one of Kiara’s favorite traditions with Mariko was grabbing a Lira’s Deli sandwich on Fridays, heading back to her house, putting on a hilariously bad scary movie, and spending the rest of the night rotting in her bedroom together. Kiara is deeply thankful to still have Mariko as a friend today, sharing new memories while cherishing all the old ones.
Devon Paminto - Bridesman
Although Kiara and Devon only became friends in high school, it feels like they've known each other forever. With so many shared interests, it's no surprise their bond is so strong. Kiara loves watching movies, and Devon? Well, he’s convinced he’s the world’s best movie critic. Their time together is always filled with laughter, silly jokes, and endless fun. And if you ever find yourself watching them play pool? Prepare for hours of your life you’ll never get back—but it’s always worth it for the entertainment.
Shawn Davis - Bridesman
Shawn may have started as Hunter’s friend, but it didn’t take long for him to become just as close to Kiara. Both Kiara and Hunter adore Shawn—mainly for his sense of humor… or maybe it’s the fear of what might happen if they don’t laugh. Either way, he never fails to bring fun and laughter to every moment with the bride and groom. And while they promise they aren’t getting into any trouble... well, you probably shouldn’t believe them. But that’s probably for the best.
Blaine Dart - Co-Best Man
Hunter and Blaine have been best friends since preschool. They have grown up together in many ways since. Hunter and Blaine are more like brothers than best friends, so much even former teammates at Butte thought they really were (Hunter being the cool older brother of course). They have spent countless hours together through hanging out after middle and high school, to living together for two years in Chico. Blaine has been known to make sure Hunter stays safe, and Hunter makes sure Blaine isn't ever being to safe. Even through hard times they always find a way to make it out with an unbroken bond. Hunter is honored to have Blaine stand beside him as a Co-best man on his wedding day.
Conor Cline - Co-Best Man
Conor and Hunter have been inseparable since they became friends back in preschool. Even though they went to different elementary schools, as soon as middle school came and they were back at together, there hasn't been a single day since that they have not talked. Conor and Hunter are truly brothers, and act just like it too. One moment they will be screaming at each other, then the next laughing and making fun of someone else like nothing happened. When they lived apart in their college years, after not seeing each other for months, as soon as they would meet up, it was like the time apart never existed. Hunter could not imagine standing up there on his wedding day and not having the Irish Magoo next to him!
Sam Stocks - Groomsman
Sam and Hunter met in Chico when Hunter first moved there to play football at Butte college. After two weeks, three practices, and one chemistry class, they finally realized they lived in the same small six total apartment complex when they pulled into the parking lot at the same time. Sam is one of the smartest people we’ve ever known. The entire time in Chico when anything went wrong Hunter and all his roommates never had to fear as you could always call Sam to fix it. Sam was Hunters best friend in Chico, and still is, and always will be. They were Ying and Yang in personalities. As Hunter tended to get Sam into trouble, and Sam would try equally as hard to keep Hunter out of trouble. I think it was an even draw at the end. On the day of October 19th 2025, he will be asked to do it one more time!
Dakota Mills - Groomsman
Dakota and Hunter have known each other their whole lives but really started becoming friends in middle school. Dakota is one of the best athletes Hunter ever played sports with, one of the most caring, and one of the most loving people he’s ever met. Above all that however, he’s one of the best friends he’s ever met. Hunter and Dakota have never had a bad time together. Through Dakota moving from state to state because of the air force there hasn’t been more than a couple days where they didn’t talk. Dakota is the friend you can mess around with, as well as talk about life with. He is truly a one of a kind person.
Robert Zamarripa - Groomsman
Hunter and Robert became great friends in high school. With a friendship really sparking when they were office assistants together and would spend an hour and a half everyday hiding in the library. Little did they know that class would lead into becoming great friends and eventually roommates in Chico for two years. Anytime Hunter and Robert are together is a fun time, from sitting watching a movie, to getting into some accidents on the mean streets of chico, they always have each others backs. Robert and Hunter have a special bond where they don't need to talk all the time, but when one needs the other, they know they can count on one another to be there.
