What is the wedding attire? Is there a dress code?
Semi formal/cocktail attire.
As reference, men should wear a suit & tie/sports jacket. Or slacks and dress shirt/sweater. Women should wear a cocktail/semi formal dress or two piece set (knee length or longer).
Where will the event take place?
The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres. 399 Ford City Rd. Freeport, Pa 16229
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is a large parking lot as soon as you drive up to the venue. A parking lot attendant will assist with parking.
Is the wedding outdoors?
Yes, the ceremony will take place outdoor at a gazebo & the reception will be tented outdoors.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
As we know Pittsburgh weather is unpredictable. Dress according to the season is recommended (bringing a shawl or jacket or wearing long sleeves).
What happens if there is inclement weather?
In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place inside the covered tent. Heaters will be provided for warmth from the venue if it is cold.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a +1?
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We have a block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Pittsburgh Mills. Hotel amenities include: free hot breakfast, wifi, parking & access to fitness center. Visit our travel tab for more details and hotel booking link.
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There will also be golf carts to transport those who will need assistance on the property.
Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?
Please click Registry tab. You will be able to access our registry. Our top choice is our cash fund. We don’t want to offend, but we really have enough. Plenty of household goods… so much stuff! To save you shopping, sit back and rest. A gift of currency is our request. No need to go rob any banks, any amount will make us smile with thanks!

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
No. Although we hope you love our centerpieces. We ask that you please leave them on our tables as they were rented.
What COVID health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?
Per CDC guidelines: Outdoor events do not require masks (as there is a lot of ventilation). If guests would like to wear make for their comfort, we encourage and support that decision.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #TWYMANTHEKNOT so we can see them, too!”
Will there be an open bar?
Yes with Signature drinks. Shots are not allowed.
Is there smoking allowed on the premises?
Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed on the Grand Estate Property.
I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?
Once you receive your formal invitation and provide your RSVP, please send us an email to: Twymanthenot@gmail.com, subject line: dietary restriction, and share that information with us so we can properly accommodate your meal.
This includes any allergies, or vegan dietary needs.
