What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
If you are part of the wedding party or set-up, please be at the venue at 12 p.m.
If you are a guest, plan to arrive by 2:45 p.m. This will give you some buffer room in case you miss your exit or maybe you're having a worse hair day than expected. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thank you for understanding! (Plus if you arrive early, you'll get to chat and listen to some lovely music.)
Please consider carpooling if able.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is business casual. We'd like to stress comfort for our guests, but please still keep it looking nice. Think Sunday best, no jeans or shorts.
Are there any colors that you'd prefer me to wear?
Our theme is greens, reds/browns, and creams. We'd like everyone to dress in nature-based colors/styles with no creams or whites!
What can we expect weather-wise?
Historical data suggests that the weather in Texas will be as low as 46 degrees Fahrenheit as high as 85 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the day. We can expect that the weather will be warmer rather than cooler. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. There will be fans for outdoor seating.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
The ceremony and reception will be in the same location. The couple will be taking pictures between the two events, but please take some time to chat, drink, and eat.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
Our reception will end at 9 p.m. to allow time for the venue to be cleaned. There will be no after-party.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Your invitation will specify how many seats have been reserved for you. Please RSVP and indicate the number of seats that you will be using as soon as possible.
What type of food will be served?
We are catering through Olive Garden.
Will there be drinks?
Our event will include an open bar. We will have a variety of wines and beer.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes, please do take photos!
We will be setting up a photography service in which you’ll just scan a QR code and the photos will be directly uploaded there. But be warned: you’ll only have 25 to take so make sure they count! We’ll also be setting up a “photo scavenger hunt” to incentivize which photos we’d like to see.
That being said, please try your best to keep your devices out of view from anyone with a real camera to avoid a memorable shot being distracting.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Absolutely! But please wait until we've posted our own photos first.
Where is your registry?
If you would like to get us something, please look at our registry on this site! However, we understand that not everyone's financial situation is equal, so do not feel pressured to get us something.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at:
18419 Fir Hollow Circle
Humble, TX 77346
A wedding card box will be at our reception.
I have more questions about the wedding, who can I contact?
For the time being, you can contact either Kiara or Austin. Closer to the wedding, this Q&A may be updated with a designated contact.
