Kiara and Josh met in August 2014 at the start of Schuylkill Haven Marching Band's band camp. Kiara had just moved to the school district and was readily making friends and connections. Josh initiated conversation and by September they had made their relationship official.

Josh and Kiara continued their relationship through high school, developing memories and experiences. They were in 2 of Havens musicals together, marching band, and enjoyed 3 proms together.

Kiara and Josh surpassed the long distance relationship while Josh started college at Lock Haven University and Kiara finished her senior year of high school focusing on her cosmetology license.

Kiara graduated high school in 2017 with her cosmetology license and went on to study and obtain her massage therapy license while Josh focussed on his studies at Lock Haven in the Sport Administration major with a minor in Spanish.

When Covid-19 shut down the world, Josh and Kiara moved in together, functioning between their parents' houses. Josh continued his college classes online while Kiara continued to work.

Josh and Kiara have been on many trips together, including many beach trips to OCMD and Delaware, Nashville, a Disney trip( a year and a half late to celebrate Kiaras 21st birthday-thanks Covid), California, and most recently a cruise to the Bahamas where Josh proposed!

February 2023 Josh and Kiara bought their first house together and quickly made it their home (thanks mom and dad!). They are now starting their forever counting down the days until I do with their three kitties Hamlet, Athena, Lanie, and corgi puppy, Maverick!
