Kiera and Josh met on Hinge, in the summer of 2020. After Kiera swiped through the entire LA scene and still didn't find anyone she liked, she decided to set her profile mileage range to 100 and hoped for the best. Josh popped up on her feed—a nice 5'11 boy who lived in San Diego and knew his way around a music festival. After they matched and chatted for a bit, he discovered to his surprise that she actually lived in LA. His initial “left on read” moment didn’t deter Kiera—her persistent double and triple texts caught his attention.

Their relationship blossomed during long-distance car rides to see each other. With Josh’s mechanic skills keeping their wheels turning and Kiera’s remote work, she could stay in SD longer than a regular on-site job would allow. They were actually able to spend a lot of time together, despite the distance. Their story revved up one mile at a time, from their first dinner wearing masks 10 feet apart from everyone else, to music festivals, to lighting fireworks in the desert. They were able to grow close together, and create long-lasting memories.

In the summer of 2022, Kiera made the jump from LA to SD to move in with Josh into a cute beach apartment in Oceanside, and a couple years later in the summer of 2023 Josh proposed to Kiera on a rooftop in Florence, Italy.

And now - here they are months away from their wedding! Kiera and Josh cannot wait to celebrate and boogie on the dance floor with all those they love ♡
