Q + A

RSVP Deadline

Deadline is September 7th,2026. After this time, RSVPs will close and a final headcount will be given to vendors.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, guests are encouraged to start arriving at 3:30pm. Please arrive no later than 3:58pm or you will be asked to wait at the front of the venue to avoid disruption of the ceremony starting.

Will there be parking onsite?

Yes! Hochzeit offers over 150 parking spots for guests towards the back end of the lot. Please leave the parking spots in the front of the venue empty for the wedding party.

Where do we go after the ceremony?

Our ceremony and reception will take place on the same lot so right after the ceremony you'll walk straight over to the reception hall. Please do not leave your aisles/seats in the chapel until after the whole wedding party has left. Please refrain from using the back entrance and side entrance doors to the reception hall, please go around to the front entrance door where you'll find the seating chart promptly displayed.

Are there any specific venue rules?

Hochzeit kindly requests that all guests who plan on smoking do so outside of the ceremony and reception areas. Please treat the venue kindly as well.

What is the plus one policy?

While we wish we could accommodate for all plus ones, only the guests formally listed on the formal invite will be allowed to attend. Extra guests will not be allowed due to limited venue space. All invited guests will be listed in the RSVP tab when accepting or declining for the event.

Are children allowed to attend?

Whilst we love little ones, we kindly request a child-free wedding with the exception of our nephew. Please see the plus-one policy as well.

Is there a hotel block?

No, but on our wedding website you can find a tab that says travel, it has several hotels listed should you need to stay the night. Please plan to book your stay a few months in advance.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code will be semi-formal with a focus on spring colors. Spring colors are as follows: pastels (pink, blue, lavender), orange, spring green, warm hues. Men are encouraged to wear nice polos or dress shirts with slacks, lady’s your welcome to wear dresses/skirts/jumpsuit’s etc…

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be semi outdoors, but the reception will be indoors. Please be aware of the weather when choosing your attire for the evening.

What food will be offered for dinner?

We haven chosen McKenzies BBQ for our catering, there will be two meats to choose from among other side options. For dessert we will have Banana pudding, or you can choose peach cobbler.

What is the alcohol policy?

Drinks will be provided at no cost until the complimentary liquor supply runs out, at which point the bar will close. Drinks will start being served at 5pm and promptly end at 10pm (or when supply runs out). Please be aware cocktail hour starts right after the ceremony, 4:45pm Ish, meaning there will be about 15 minutes before alcohol is available. There are NO shots allowed of any kind per the venue rules. They cannot hold alcohol for anyone in particular such as BYOB.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that all guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer to take photos of both the ceremony and the reception. For the reception you’re more then welcome to take photos so long as your not blocking our photographer.

When can we post wedding photos to our social medias?

We kindly ask that you refrain from posting our wedding pictures until the day after, and when you do so, please tag us, we'd love to see the photos our guests took!

Do you have a wedding registry and where can I find it?

Yes! We have one here on our website you can use. It has one for the Knot and one linked to our Amazon registry. Using our Knot registry, you'll be able to donate to our honeymoon fund if you prefer. Please do not feel obligated to get a gift, but anything we do receive is greatly appreciated!
