Our Wedding

Our story started on April 30th, 2022.We were set up on a double date from our friends Amanda and Blake (Nolan still owes them big time!) a couple of months after their wedding. While Kiersten won the first date at Top Golf, a few weeks later Nolan invited her to a mini golf date. It started rough with her getting a hole-in-one, but he slowly took the victory and kept the scorecard as proof.Now with them being even, was there going to be a third date? Of course! However, living +100 miles away from each other and Kiersten working nights, we both learned the I-10 like the back of our hands. We drove it every weekend for a year and a half until Nolan moved down to Tucson.And on March 17th, 2024, Nolan followed in his father's footsteps and proposed to the love of his life, which is why we all get to celebrate with food, dancing, and most importantly, drinks on the future Andersons.

Since freshman year of high school in Spanish class, we have been inseparable. From  "camping" adventures, summer birthday celebrations, and life changes, we have been there for each other.  At some point, we were with each other more than our own family. I could not do this day without her!

From chaperoning father-daughter dances in high school to graduating from a different nursing school. We are always finding a way back to each other, from working together and fun nights on the town with Nolan/Nolina. Annie has been a pillar in my life. She is nothing but a ray of sunshine and will get everyone on the dance floor!

There are three things you should know about Maddie. The first is, she and Kiersten only met in 2024; they quickly became two peas in a pod. The second is that Maddie can make anyone she talks to adore her (Kiersten fell victim). Lastly, it is a privilege to have her standing beside me on my wedding day!

We met in high school, and in the blink of an eye, I was helping Kayla walk down her wedding aisle in 2019 to start her own little family. No matter how busy Kayla is being an amazing wife or mother, she continues to be the world's best, supportive, and insightful friend. Thank you for giving me one of the cutest flower girls!

Timeline for the ceremony and reception 3:30 pm - 3:50 pm - Guests arrive and follow the signs to the outdoor ceremony (don't worry, the weather in Tucson will be beautiful).4:00 pm - Ceremony will start!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4:30 pm - Cocktail hour begins, please keep an eye out for the surprise guest... Travel

There is plenty of desert (and non-desert) related activities to do here. Some experiences include live animal presentations, raptor free flight, avian adventures, stingray touch (definitely native to Tucson), packrat playhouse, desert loop trails, hummingbird aviary (*where you could probably find a wild Shari *Mother of the Groom*), and explore ancient Arizona. When you are done exploring outside, there are also indoor adventures like the reptile, amphibian &amp; invertebrate hall, Warden Aquarium, and the Earth Sciences Center.

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Please explore the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains, Mount Lemmon SkyCenter, and where Nolan proposed to Kiersten at Windy Point. There are many trails if you plan to hike, or you can drive and pull over at the many rest areas to take advantage of the views. When you get done working up an appetite, take a pit stop at the Mt Lemmon Cookie Cabin. Known for their oversized cookies the size of faces, they also serve various breakfast items, coffees, teas, chili, cornbread, sandwiches, and pizza.

Take advantage and explore one of the largest aviation &amp; space museums in the world. It features more than 400 historic aircraft, from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner, and encompasses six indoor exhibit hangars. It also includes the oldest serving B-52 and a Northrop B-2 bomber. Please also hang out at the Flight Grill/Hanger 1 where you can refuel and overlook the "Boneyard".
