Our love story began in a place special to us both: the soccer field. As fate would have it, we were each randomly assigned as free agents to the same team in an adult soccer league. Playing together, we instantly became friends who shared a passion for sports, competition, and the outdoors. It took a year but on St. Patrick’s Day 2023, while celebrating amongst friends, we realized we also shared a passion for something else…..each other.

Our relationship evolved quickly as we began taking adventures together. Neither of us could believe we had found someone that shared a similar passion for sports, travel, concerts, country dancing, and the outdoors. Hand in hand we shared memorable moments together. Whether it be running a race in Hot Springs, camping in the Oklahoma wilderness, dancing in the honky-tonk bars of Nashville, to a golf trip in Oklahoma City, our relationship continued to grow. Our travels also took us to Idaho, California, and Washington where we would joyfully introduce each other to our families. United, we have embraced the thrill of discovering new places together.

Our love for each other and shared interest in all things outdoors culminated on January 6th at the Sporting Clays Shotgun Range in Dallas, a repeat of our memorable first date. As we rounded the corner headed to the last shooting station, Chris dropped to one knee and proposed with both of our families there to witness and celebrate the beginning of this exciting new chapter in our lives. A journey that began on the soccer field, now continues the adventure together in their committed relationship to each other.

Our love story, rooted in friendship and shared experiences, showcased a genuine connection that grew naturally over time. They say you should marry your best friend and that’s exactly what we’re doing. We are thrilled to be celebrating at our wedding at a beautiful venue with the mountains of Sunriver, Oregon as our backdrop.
