Daniel and Kiersty met back in early 2021 and started a friendship in 2023. After working with one another and growing closer as friends, they came to the pleasant conclusion that they wanted to be with one another. The strength of their relationship would be tested and shown to be stronger than they could ever imagine as they navigated many steps of life early on in their relationship. They learned to lean on the Lord while supporting and uplifting each other no matter what. Their faith and dependence in Jesus has kept them together, and helped them grow closer as the months and years go by. Now after almost a year and half they're engaged and on the journey to marriage.

Kiersty' POV:

I did not expect to fall for Daniel and I wouldn't even say fall is the right word, but rather grow in love with Daniel. I remember moments in our friendship when I realized that Daniel was someone who I constantly wanted to be around and feel seen by. The whole world felt as if it slowed down around me when I was around him. His friendship to me was special yet very different than the rest. I remember being in Bandera by myself in December of 2023. I usually spent my time out there to clear my mind and pray. I remember asking Jesus about Daniel that time in December. It was a sweet moment of seeing him for how Jesus valued him. Little did I know half a year later it would be the same spot Daniel would officially ask me to be his girlfriend. Our relationship has shown me that love is way more than butterflies. Love is constantly choosing above our feelings in the moment or the chaos around us. Its the value that we see from what God has shown us in each other, and its not just about the good times, but loving each other despite the bad times. I am very grateful to start this next chapter with the man who makes me laugh, helps me feel like myself and will pursue Jesus with me.

Daniels POV:

The first real interaction I remember having with Kiersty was on campus at UTSA. I walked up to the booth for the ministry we were part of, and she decided to pray for me in front of everyone there. I knew from that moment on she cared more for God's heart and His people more than what people thought and said. I was very intrigued by this woman, and throughout the next year and a half I decided to learn more of who she was and to be her friend. As every day passed I found the woman of God I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I asked her to be my girlfriend on May 3, 2024, and I asked her to be my wife on September 7, 2025. The most exciting part of our relationship and lives are coming soon and we can't wait to see y'all there on that special day !!
