We went on a trip to Lincoln Park Zoo with some friends.

We had a project in our Speech Communications class where we had to pick someone to have weekly intentional conversations with to learn more about interpersonal relationships. At this point, Zeke and I were interested in each other and he asked me to do the project with him. We used the project as an excuse to get to know each other. (This is a picture from one of our first "meetings" for our project).

This picture was taken after Zeke told me he liked me. I told him I liked him too but wasn't ready for a relationship. This was the day before we spent the day together at the Shedd Aquarium.

Our first outing together just the two of us. We went to the Shedd Aquarium and then to Coldstone for ice cream. We also got matching dolphin bracelets at the Shedd Aquarium and talked about our views on dating.

Our first date as boyfriend and girlfriend! We went to see the movie "Till" in theaters and then went to Big Bowl for dinner. I have no pictures from our first official date so here is a screenshot of a video Emily took when I was getting ready.

For our first anniversary, Zeke and I went on a date to Navy Pier. We rode the Ferris wheel and enjoyed exploring the stores inside the Pier. Afterwards, we went to dinner at Benihana

For our second anniversary together, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean and played board games. As time went on, we kept growing closer together and started talking about marriage.

On April 3rd, Zeke proposed to me at Oak Street Beach during sunrise.

This past summer, Zeke and I did our internship together in Spain. We loved being able to do ministry together in another country. We are looking forward to seeing where God leads us after Moody.
