We were set up by our Matron of Honor (Kelly's) mom, Linda. Linda knew both of us since we were kids and thought we'd be the perfect match. Turns out we were!

It all started in October 2019, when John sent the first text and the rest is history. Kim thought we had nothing in common but her mother kept saying "opposites attract who knows what will happen". Then came the first date.... one we will never forget. John didn't blink the whole time and Kim didn't look at him. But, she agreed to a second date and then a third and we became inseparable. Over the years we've had an amazing time together from brewery hopping to road-tripping to cruising and we don't want to stop there! Here's to a lifetime together!

On July 8, 2024, on the beautiful private island Perfect Day at CocoCay, John went down on one knee and asked the biggest question of his life "will you be my wife?" and of course, Kim said yes!

That morning, the first stop on our cruise, John was extremely nervous. He was throwing up all morning and kept claiming it was acid reflux. He told Kim not to wear a bathing suit and put something else on to go to the beach. She thought it was strange but obliged. They got off the ship, wandered on the island, and found the perfect spot for pictures under a beautiful gazebo overlooking the crystal blue waters. John set up his tripod to take some photos. We took some pictures and John said "wait, just one more thing". He got down on one knee and asked the question. Kim of course said yes and was stunned by the ring.

We enjoyed the rest of our cruise as fiancè and fianceè swimming with turtles, eating delicious food, and sunbathing (more like sunburning).
