We met in March 2020, right when COVID first started and was threatening to shut everything down, including the trails in Washington!

Spencer had only lived in Seattle for 5 months since moving from his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky after college. By now, Kim had lived in Seattle for 6 years since moving from Philadelphia after college (originally from Mystic, Connecticut).

So, how did our paths cross? Well, through mutual friends on a backpacking trip to Baker Lake! (shoutout to Michael and Caroline)

We all have a love for the outdoors and decided to go on one last backpacking trip before the pandemic took over. SO thankful that we did! While watching the sunset over Mt. Shuksan and Mt. Baker, I think we both knew that we had a crush on each other. We have been together ever since :)

We now live together in Issaquah, WA and enjoy spending most of our time hiking, cooking, doing yoga, planning trips, and hanging out with our dog, Willow!

More than anything, we share a love of adventure, and we hope to share our biggest adventure yet with you all in Hawaii! :)
