Kim & Jessup

December 7, 2024 • Morriston, FL

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by October 1st, 2024. If you are unsure of where to send, please call or text us.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Andalusian Oaks 11501 NW 160th Ave, Morriston, FL 32668. The venue is in a Florida town called Morriston, which is part of the city of Ocala. It is horse country, so the venue is a small ranch for weddings. Ceremony, cocktail, and reception will be held there. If you wish to continue the party on Saturday, you are more than welcome to join us for more celebrating at the Herlong Mansion in Micanopy, FL. That is where the bridal party is staying.

Where are you registered?

No traditional registry or physical gifts needed, not even for the bridal shower. Your presence is enough. We just ask that any gift giving be done on the Honeyfund Registry or The Knot’s cash fund as we wish to apply all celebration contributions towards our honeymoon to make it extra special!

What time should I arrive?

Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Please be in your seat at 4pm. For those who tend to arrive fashionably late (we ourselves fall under this category at times), please arrive at 3:30 so you can ensure a seat and enjoy the greenery Andalusian Oaks has to offer.

Where should guests park?

Free Parking is available at the venue.

What will the weather be like?

December in North Florida is typically mid 80’s during the day and can be mid 60’s at night.

How many days should I plan for?

Since most of our guests are from out of town, flying in Friday to come refreshed on Saturday is the common itinerary. However, you are welcome to fly in or drive in the morning of, if it is more convenient. Just be aware of the check in time for your hotel stay so you are not hauling luggage with you. If you are arriving on Saturday and need help with where to keep luggage, please contact us.

Is there transportation available?

No, renting a vehicle will be the easiest and most convenient way to get around. If you need help getting to the venue, please let us know. Ubers are available but because of the area, they have higher fare and longer waits to locating a driver. TIP: Grouping guests may help improve wait times/rate on Uber/Lyft.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, absolutely. We just ask that you confirm how many and if any are under age 5.

Will there be any vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or special diet options?

While the main entrees are meat friendly, please let us know of any special accommodations when you RSVP.

Will there be any dancing?

Lots! Be ready to boogie! We’ve got country and Latin bunch, so brush up on your line dancing and salsa too!

How formal or how cocktail is the dress code?

Part of the day will be outside and part of it, inside. December in North Central Florida is usually cool at night. Pack a light jacket if you are the type to get cold. Dress like you would for a formal dinner. No jeans, but ties are optional. TIP: There is no such thing as being overdressed in our eyes! ;D

How do I know if I have a plus one?

When you RSVP, it will show you if you have a plus one. Rule of thumb, if you have been dating someone for the past 6 months and you would like to bring, please text us. If you see the word family, that refers to children. And they of course are invited as well.

Where is the rehearsal dinner?

TBD.
