We first met in junior high school. We graduated from the same high school, Darryl in 1981 and Kim in 1982. We went on our first date in July 1982. We dated through several years of college and talked about getting married. However, we parted ways in 1985 and soon after, we married other people.

Fast forward (well, not so fast), we started communicating on social media in the fall of 2020. Soon after, we went on our second "first date" on October 15, 2020. From the beginning, it seemed that it was just "meant to be". On October 15, 2021, Darryl proposed while we were walking on North Myrtle Beach!

Now we are planning our life together, starting with our wedding on ...October 15, 2022. It's been over 40 years since that first date and we are finally making it to the altar.

We are so happy to start our life together, along with our six children (plus one bonus son in law!)
