Antoinette Seals - Bridesmaid
I first crossed paths with the bride a little over five years ago during the chaos and excitement of a Super Bowl game, where the roars of the crowd all but drowned out any real conversation between us. Little did I know then, as my brother’s sister, that this brief encounter would blossom into a cherished friendship. Our next meeting was much more personal—I had the pleasure of helping her move. As she prepared for her upcoming joy of motherhood, she humorously tried to offload her collection of heels and party attire, only to realize later that she might regret parting with them so quickly! Since those early days, her presence at family gatherings has felt like the norm. There were no pretenses, just genuine laughter, shared experiences, and an undeniable bond that made her feel like part of the family long before this beautiful day.

I first met the bride six years ago at my cousin’s Super Bowl party. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly in my most “meetable” state that day—she knows what kind of influences were at play (lol). Before we met, my brother had been raving about this new woman whose sense of humor matched his perfectly. My first thought was, “Oh Lord… another Antoine.”
But the moment I had the pleasure of meeting her, I could immediately see how well they fit together. My prayer for my brother has always been for him to find true happiness, and after Kim came into his life, I saw that happiness blossom. She not only embraced us as her family, but she turned out to be even more genuine and welcoming than I imagined.
As the years passed, I had the opportunity to get to know her first as a friend, and then—beautifully—as a sister. I couldn’t have asked for a better sister-in-law. Her smile and laughter are infectious, and my family and I have welcomed her with open arms.
Lana Galera - Matron of Honor
I met Kim 15 and a half years, at THE family BBQ (my first family gathering with the Galera family- as her brother's "new girlfriend"). We were connected by family, yet in those early moments we were still strangers in many ways, exchanging polite smiles and brief conversations while life moved around us.
Little did we know our lives would further connect us-- soon to be sisters-in-law by marriage and partners in chaos by motherhood. Our kids are growing up like a tiny cousin gang, and somewhere between the crazy adventures, meltdowns, and snack negotiations...we are growing together.
I am honored and truly excited to stand by her side in Jamaica as we honor her and Antoine's love and celebrate their forever.

I met Kimmy G. almost 20 years ago through my bff Lisa when we were all going to Loyola. We all kind of just hung out and went to clubs…which was cool! Lol
But there was a shift in Kim and my relationship about 10 years ago when we stayed in a hotel after her birthday dinner. We were up all night talking and crying about things in our lives we never told anyone. That’s when Kimmy and I went from friends to real sisters. One of my best friends til this day. She blessed me with my only God baby. Now she becomes a Mrs.--a title so deserving. Forever my Kimmy G. Cheers to More Life and becoming a wife ❤️

I met my best friend, my forever "wifey" in our freshman year of college! We were randomly assigned as roommates. I was excited to be in a new city, but also afraid because I was alone since I had no family in Chicago. Kim became more than a roommate and a friend-- she became family! We have gone through so much together and have experienced each other's happiness, sadness, craziness, etc. and I can honestly say we have been through everything together! Too many stories and many that we cannot even share lol. I am blessed to have her in my life for over 20 years now! Not even distance can keep us apart and I am so grateful to be able to be part of her special day and celebrate the beautiful love she has with the love of her life- Antoine! Love you forever my Kimberly Rose Galera

Kim and I met in our freshman year at Carmel High School in 2001, back when our biggest worries were getting good grades and making sure our shirts were tucked in our uniform skirts and whether our parents could drop us off all the way to Old Orchard Mall. Even after I switched schools, we kept the friendship alive by talking on the phone since text messages weren't as popular yet and hanging out at our favorite Hooters-- 'wings double dipped and extra crispy.'
In college, while I was on rotations and basically living like a nomad, Kim let me crash on the couch in her one-bedroom studio--proving she's either incredible loyal or just too nice to say no. She helped celebrate the night before my wedding at Uncle Paulies Bar :) and stood in my wedding. Later, we both ended up having covid baby girls, which is exciting to see our girls grow up.
Life has taken us all over the place, but no matter how long it's been, every time I see her she's still the same hilarious, down-to-earth high school Kim I met back in 2001 (minus the questionable LoWeR aNd UppERcAse TexTiNg lol). I'm so happy she found her soulmate, and I cannot wait to celebrate!

I met Kim on a Chicago summer night- August 13th of 2021- hot, loud, and perfect for my nephew Shawn's birthday party right on the lakefront. The family and friends were out there catching a vibe, and honestly, I was just focused on the food, music, and celebration.
Then my brother Antoine showed up, and he's not alone. That was the very first time I met Kim. I remember it clearly because she was rocking a bright blue jumpsuit and she just fit right into the energy of the night. My brother Antoine looked proud as ever introducing her to me and some of the other family members, and I could tell immediately she wasn't just "some girl" he brought along, she had a presence.
What really made it interesting, though, was when we started talking about weddings, Kim didn't just have a guest list, she had a whole vision for her wedding party that was...let's just say very unique. She had these hilarious requirements and ideas for everyone, I remember thinking, "Okay, she's got a personality, I like her!" Looking back on that summer night of August 2021, it's crazy to think that was just the beginning. That night at the lake started with a birthday party and ended with me realizing I was looking at my future sister-in-law. Antoine definitely knew what he was doing bringing her around that night. I knew that Antoine had found someone special and so had our entire family.
