Our Journey of Love Begins

On January 3rd, 2022, we started our journey together as the universe pointed us toward one another. We found ourselves on our first of many date nights. We swapped stories for hours and bounced from one neighborhood spot to the next.

Our European Adventures

By May 2022, our love had taken flight, quite literally, as we embarked on our first international escapade to the romantic boulevards of Paris, the bright canals of Amsterdam, and the charming streets of Copenhagen. Paris had us sipping rosè under the night sky of the Eiffel Tower. Amsterdam had us touring the colorful canals. Copenhagen had us laughing on a giant swing in the heart of Tivoli Gardens. Each city became a backdrop and another milestone started to form countless memories together.

Our Tokyo Adventures

As the year wound down to December 2022, our adventurous spirits led us to Tokyo, Japan, where I met Kim's family from Russia for the first time. Put in setting to now speak Russian and Japanese, I quickly became a pro at combining my "Charade" skills with Google Translate to form some unforgettable moments - mostly with me making a fool of myself. Our trip was marked by the snowy slopes of Shiga Kogen which became the perfect playground skiing for 4 days straight. It also included plenty of flavors of ramen, endless plates of all-you-can-eat sushi, and the joy of celebrating New Year's in a vibrant city.

Our Skydiving Chapter

In August 2023, our love soared to new heights as we experienced the thrill of skydiving in Maui, Hawaii. I surprised Kim with a reservation at Maui Skydiving for her birthday, as skydiving had always been on her bucket list. Kim pushed me out of my comfort zone in a big, big way, but all for the best. It was an experience we will absolutely never forget and one we are so grateful that we could experience together for the first time.

Our Proposal

October 2023 brought the moment that would forever change our lives. I asked Kim to marry me and she said "YES!"

Our Life Together

While it may sound like our lives consists of extreme adventure, we also find joy and comfort in the simple moments of life together - on walks around the neighborhood; jumping into HIIT workout classes at F45, indulging in tacos and margaritas, finding the nearest arcade bar for a competitive night of pinball, taking Louie to the dog park and grilling on our balcony.
