Mandy Davidson - Bridesmaid
My name is Mandy Davidson, and I have known Kim for over 20 years. We met at the YMCA in Springfield, MO in our college years. She was a member and I was a personal trainer. We quickly hit it off and became great friends. After all this time we are still just as close. I treasure every memory I have made with her and consider her as one of my best friends. I am so excited for her to begin this new chapter with Andy. I see a bright future for them, and she deserves every happiness in the world.

Kim and I met as coworkers and quickly became friends. We have been through alot in the past few years: job changes, Kim moving across the country for travel nursing, bad dating experiences, and just life in general. We have gotten closer through all of this. To know Kim is to love her!

Andy and I have been best friends since we met in 1994, while working together at Roadway Package Systems, now FedEx Ground. We would talk about sports, 70's and 80's music, tell jokes, do impressions of Harry Caray, and laugh all day at work. I then became close with Andy's parents, Don and Joan, who were absolutely wonderful people! Andy and I have gone to thousands of sporting events together all over North America, including a 2 week pilgrimage to Canada to watch hockey in 2004. In 2008, Andy stood with me as I married my wife Karen, and was at the hospital as we brought our son Jacob into the world, almost 11 years ago. Jake loves his uncle Andy very much. Andy is much more than a friend or a buddy. He has become a brother and a member of our family. He has always been there to help us or my parents in any way he can. We are blessed to have Andy, and now we are very happy and excited to accept Kim into our family as well!

As Andy‘s older brother, I am honored that he has asked me to stand with him on his special day. Although I left home for a career in the Air Force when Andy had just started high school, we’ve maintained a close brotherly bond throughout the years. Together with my wife, Marlene and son Nicholas, we have wonderful memories of Christmases, birthdays, and other special family gatherings spent at Mom and Dad‘s home in Springfield. Andy also spent many vacations visiting us at our home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We made many more memories of fun and sun at the beach, boating or just grilling some fresh shrimp in the backyard. Now that Andy and Kim have found each other, Marlene and I couldn’t be happier for the two of them. We look forward to celebrating the beautiful life that lies ahead.

From the moment Andy and I met, I knew we would be more than friends, we would be brothers. He is the most honest, respectable, and the friendliest man I have ever met! Most importantly, I value the shared love we have for God. I am truly honored that he asked me to stand up with him on this special day!
