What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Our ceremony will start at 5pm, and you should aim to arrive between 4.15pm and 4.30pm so that all guests are seated before the ceremony. Please do not arrive more than an hour before the ceremony start time, as staff will still be setting up for our big day!

What time will celebrations end?

As much as we would love to celebrate all night, our venue has kindly asked us to note carriages at 11pm in our Q&A. If relying on taxis to make your departure, please ensure these are booked in advance using the postcode indicated on the home page, as signal is almost non-existent at the venue!

Will Norma be there?

Of course, our lovely Norma will be in attendance for part of the day if the weather is good! No doubt she will be over the moon to say hello to everyone, so please bring treats accordingly although we kindly ask a few people (you know who you are), to refrain from overexciting her when you say hi! Columbus does not care for weddings, and looks down on such frivolities and so has already RSVP'd that he will not be attending, nor celebrating from afar.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, car parking is in Church Park (at the front of the House) which is signposted on the right-hand side when entering through the private entrance.

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

If parking at Penshurst Place overnight, cars should be retrieved no later than 10.30am the following day. The vehicle gate may well be closed, but will not be locked.

What should I wear?

Our dress code for the day is black tie. Think tuxedo, formal gown or floor length dress! We kindly ask that the ladies refrain from wearing white or similar colours. If we are lucky enough to have good weather, our wedding (including dinner) will be held mostly outdoors on grassy areas.

Will you be able to cater for my dietary restrictions?

Yes! Please select your preferred meal option when you RSVP, and inform us of any dietary restrictions at this point. Our venue will then adapt your meal choice accordingly.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated - you can do so by scanning the QR code below.
