Check out the beauty that Birmingham has to offer. Each year, the gardens welcome over 300,000 visitors from all around the world, providing a connection to nature and environment education.
Cafe Dupont debuted in Spirngville, AL in 1994. The location put Chef Dupont in close contact with local farmers and growers, and the ability to pick his own berries from a nearby watercress. Now, Cafe Dupont is located in the heart of downtown Birmingham, and is recognized as one of the finest restaurants in the city. This place has become one of our favorites and we encourage you to make a reservation when you come to visit the city.
Are you looking for great wine? Gianmarco's is a fabulous option for those who love to sip and chat. After opening its doors in February 2003, Gianmarco's quickly grew to be a local favorite in the Birmingham community. If you are craving an authentic Italian meal, or selection of several hand-crafted daily specials ranging from grass-fed prime cut ribeyes, to fresh grouper, your senses will thank you in the end. We suggest sitting in the back area where you will be surrounding by some of the best wines you can get your hands on- just make sure you are there at least 30 minutes early since they do not take reservations.
We invite you to visit one of our favorite places to grab the best ice cream in the city. A small company located in the middle of Mountain Brook Village, the creamery is packed with new flavors every week. It is without a doubt one of the best places for a quick date.
Every Saturday in downtown Birmingham, local farmers, butchers, and much more get together at a small market. Here, you can find home-cooked entrees, fresh meats, fresh baked breads, and even treats for your dogs. We love going every now and then to let the dogs meet new friends and get to know some of the locals.
