They met online. Nick was living in Merrick, Kim was living in Long beach.

Nick thought Kim wasn’t interested because he would text her and it would take her hours or days to respond. She hadn’t told him yet that she was flight attendant.

After several rescheduled first dates, Kim was finally in the same time zone but she had an early trip the next day and nearly canceled on Nick. Her roommate convinced to just go to dinner and give the guy a chance and at least go for a quick dinner. If the date sucked, just bike home early.

Kim rode her bike to meet Nick at a restaurant in Long Beach. She grossly underestimated how hot it was and arrived to their first date dripping in sweat. Nick thought she was glowing. There was an instant click. Needless to say, they fell in love.

From then on Kim shared her love (and benefits) for traveling with Nick. They’ve traveled all over together, and enjoy exploring new countries together.

Amid the 2020 Pandemic when everything was shutting down, Nick and Kim decided to getaway from all the darkness and went to Cancun for a long weekend. They fell in love with paradise and it was just the beginning of more light to come. Nick kept saying “good things will come out of 2020, you just wait”.

On December 6th, 2020 Nick popped the question at Del Vino Winery in New York. It was the easiest YES Kim ever said.

They can’t wait to spend forever together.
