On a cold dreary day on December 5, 2021 Kim and Josh met in a quaint Italian restaurant in New Hampshire for their first date. They chatted side by side at the bar getting to know each other while snacking on the charcuterie board and wine. They overshared and swapped stories until they realized they better go before they close the place down.

Over the next several months their infinity for each other grew. Every weekend they made time to see each other despite their 1 hour plus distance. Josh would drive from Boston to Manchester, New Hampshire to visit Kim, while she traveled down to Josh’s condo in Boston soaking in the excitement of the city.

After 5 months or so Kim moved closer to the border of NH to make the weekend commutes quicker. During their time in New Hampshire they enjoyed the mountains, cooking, playing board games, and relaxing nights on the couch. Most importantly to Josh, Kim fit in seamlessly with his closest friends and family whether it was vacationing in Myrtle Beach or in his hometown in CT.

After about a year and a half Kim moved into Josh’s Boston condo with both kitties in tow. As a self-proclaimed “dog guy”, Josh quickly moved the cats up in his pet ranks. Every weekend was always filled with adventure whether it was exploring the city, trying different restaurants (although almost always settling on Italian), or driving down to Cape Cod during the summer months.

In September 2023 Josh and Kim went on a trip of a life time to the Amalfi Coast and Paris. Josh had a big secret and was planning to propose the second day of their vacation!

In typical Kim fashion she was napping off the jet lag all afternoon while Josh ran around feverishly trying to organize the proposal. Eventually he got her out of bed and they went to a fancy hotel restaurant that overlooked the coast for dinner. Josh casually left the table but little did she know he snuck upstairs to the hotel front desk to finalize his plan with the hotel concierge. When he returned to the dinner table he schemed up a plan for Kim to go upstairs to take photos of the scenery.

With the ring in his back pocket he escorted her up the stairs to the private hotel balcony overlooking the ocean and dramatic cliffs. Without any time to spare Josh exclaimed “yup it’s happening” and got down on one knee. The rest was history!
