Our Story

Her Point of View

Picture of Her Point of View

So our story starts out as any other in todays dating scene. I’m scrolling through the many selections of eligible bachelors or so most say, and I come across this guys picture. It was a gym picture (much like most guys) and the first thing I notice, other than the gym, were his eyes. I am a sucker for eyes. I believe I was the first one to message him with “I just have to say, you are gorgeous” I don’t normally tell a guy that, but I had to get his attention. I needed him to see me and stand out above the others. It took him FOREVER to respond back to me. And when he did it was very short brief messages. So of course I got in my head, my dating life wasn’t all that great. Apparently he thought I was a bot or something. A fake profile (weird) but I tried to assure him I was 100% a real person. After much persuading, he finally agreed to start chatting. It was a good week of back and forth messaging when he asked if I wanted to go on a date.
Our first date was one of the better ones I’ve had. He cooked me dinner, we watched a movie, and even had a great conversation. We clicked instantly. We liked the same movies, songs, and although he is an AVID Professional Wrestling fan, we still had a ton in common.
Even though we clicked right out of the gate, I still had issues I needed to work out with myself. We stopped dating after a couple months (big mistake on my part) but stayed friends and talked to each other everyday for over 2 years. It was the best thing to happen on my part, others could say different for him, but being able to talk as friends for 2 years has been the best part, I truly can say I’m marring my best friend.

His Point of View

I had ventured back into the dating scene and had all the ups and downs you would expect. Then one day I get this message: "You are gorgeous!" along with other compliments and I was completely convinced it was coming from a fake dating profile. There was no way someone this beautiful was hitting me up. I sent a few messages back, asking questions a real person had to answer; eventually I was convinced that this stunning woman was a real person. We start talking and I'm getting smitten. We have our first date and I instantly knew, this was THE ONE. All of my life I have wanted that "80s rom/com" kind of feeling and there it was. She was beautiful, funny, witty... everything I've ever wanted. Unfortunately, external forces led to us not dating soon after. We remained friends and continued to talk every day, in spite of our circumstances. We both needed to grow a little and once we did, we both knew we needed to be together. She calms my soul and gives me a sense of peace I have never known. Kimberly is, without question, the one person I have wanted and waited for my entire life.
